1922 Tour of Japan Advertisement - Only Known Example. Very few relics survived from the 1922 Tour of Japan. Just getting them back to our country was the biggest hurdle to overcome. Storage and years of exposure added further challenges. This is the first advertisement (7.25x10.5") we have unearthed from the '22 tour. The issue has a chipped lower left corner. Toning appears, we surmise from the way it was stored. A slight run appears on the left edge. Names listed include: Pennock, Sewell, Kelly, Stengel, Meusel and more. Japanese script appears on the reverse in pencil. This originated from George Kelly's collection.
