1919 Cincinnati Reds Players Souvenir Book. Rare yearbook dates to the scandalous Black Sox age when these Reds were handed the World Series title by "Shoeless Joe" Jackson and his seven co-conspirators. Photos and biographies of each World Champion appear within. Very few examples of this volume have survived to the present day, and this must certainly be the finest of that endangered breed, with the slightest shelf wear the only issue worthy of note. This is EX/MT, tightly bound and free of typical staining, tearing or age toning. A few marks on Patrick Moran's face keep this from NM status.Auction Info
