Description

1913 World Series Program (New York). Is that supposed to be Connie Mack shaking McGraw's hand? That's just not right! Well, the old man had the last laugh, his Philadelphia Athletics topping the Giants in five games to claim the World Championship. This unscored program was issued at one of the three games played at the Polo Grounds, each of which was won by the visiting team, and presents quite nicely despite a few evident flaws. Most notably, an application of tape holds the spine together, and a deep vertical crease appears from the program having been folded in half. Handwriting on the front cover, various creasing on both, and paper loss on the back are also to be noted, but the interior pages remain fairly problem free.
