Description
1912 World Series Program (Boston). Solid mid-grade rarity remains complete and tightly bound, effectively transporting the reader back to Game Five of the 1912 Fall Classic, which saw the hometown Sox take a quick lead over New York Giants hero Christy Mathewson with a pair of triples in the third inning, claiming a two to one win and moving within a single victory of their ultimate World Championship. The center score cards are fully notated in pencil by the fan on hand to witness the game at the brand new Fenway Park. Surface and spine wear is evident, as is moderate toning of the exterior covers, but otherwise the program displays quite nicely.Auction Info
