1939-54 Red Ruffing Personal World Series Press Pins Lot of 14. After his Hall of Fame career was over, Red Ruffing became a top-tier executive. Representing his playing and executive days are these fourteen World Series press pins. Each has the original back and shows light age wear - EX/MT. The 1939 and '47 pins have the original Dieges & Clust cardboard backing. Included are: (2) 1938 (Yankees and Pirates version), '39 (Yankees), '47 (Yankees), (2) '48 (Indians), '52 (Yankees), '53 (Yankees), (2) '54 (Giants and Indians), '59 (White Sox), '61 (Reds) and '76 (Yankees). Also included is a '54 Indians All-Star Game press pin. Letter of provenance from the Ruffing family.Auction Info
