Description
1937 World Series Press Pin (New York Yankees). The Yanks went back-to-back over the New York Giants in a rematch of the '36 Fall Classic, this time winning in five games behind stellar defense and pitching - which allowed a mere 12 runs. Enamel coloring remains strong on the face of the pin with gold plating tarnished to a nice patina. On the reverse is found a threaded post and nut with a "Dieges & Clust" stamp below.Auction Info
