    Description

1923 World Series Press Pin (New York Yankees). The third time was a charm for the men in pinstripes, as the Yankees claimed their first of twenty-seven World Championships to date after consecutive defeats in 1921 and 1922. This historic pin was proudly sported in the press box of the infant Yankee Stadium at Games One, Three and Five and today serves as an essential memento of the dawning of a new age. Very minor wear to the front, otherwise beautiful. Nut on threaded post presents on verso. Arguably the most important Yankees pin that exists.
