1898 Whitehead & Hoag Cameo Pepsin Pin Buffalo Baseball Club. Featuring sixteen players from the 1897 Buffalo Baseball Club, this pin was issued by Whitehead and Hoag to advertise their Cameo Pepsin gum in 1898. The photograph is stunning and as vivid as it was issued, with only the smallest of cracks on the right hand side. There is a spot of paper missing on the reverse, but overall, condition otherwise presents as Excellent-Mint. Pin measures 1.25" in diameter and is a shining example of 19th Century ephemera.Auction Info
