    Description

Late 1920's Bill Dickey Original Negative by George Burke. Before Thurman Munson and Yogi Berra, there was Bill Dickey, the first great Yankee catcher. A lifetime .313 hitter, he collected fourteen World Series winner's rings as a player and coach. One of the most famous sports photographers of all time, George Burke started his baseball career in 1929. He would go on to leave a legacy of classic images, both portraits and action shots, usually of individual players instead of groups. Many Burke photos ended up as the central image on cards produced during the same time. Just under 5x7" in size and on Eastman Kodak Nitrate Film. NRMT condition and still suitable for making quality prints.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
