    Description

Early 1920's Babe Ruth & Wally Schang Original Photograph, PSA/DNA Type 1. Very cool photograph of Wally Schang and Babe Ruth choosing their weapons has us a bit stumped, as the former is wearing home pinstripes and the latter road greys. Schang was a Yankee between 1921 and 1925, so we can reduce the possible vintage to that five-year span, but that still leaves the mismatched uniform question unanswered. The photo measures 8x10" and exhibits considerable wear around the edges that only minimally impedes upon the image area. Handwritten numerical coding appears at lower right obverse. Verso exhibits editorial handwriting but no stamping. LOA from PSA/DNA, Type 1.
