    Circa 1950 Roy Campanella Original Photograph by Barney Stein Used for His 1950 Bowman Card, PSA/DNA Type 1. The three-time National League Most Valuable Player dueled with Yogi Berra for supremacy behind the plate during the late 1940s and 50s before an automobile accident tragically altered his life. The offered 8x10" studio portrait of Campy was snapped legendary Dodgers' photographer Barney Stein and subsequently used by Bowman for card #75 in their 1950 release. Light wear exhibited with team stamping and and library identifiers on the reverse. A Type I image for Campanella's 1951 Bowman card sold for $1,080 in October of 2018. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, Type 1.
