Description
Circa 1950 Cy Young Signed Photograph, PSA/DNA Mint 9. He was one of the greatest figures of the tobacco card era, and he exhibits his continued fidelity to the product in his old age as he makes a transaction at a local cigar shop. Young is rarely found in signed photographic format and this one is particularly strong, his blue ink signature making fine use of the wide white border beneath the image. His ink rates 9/10, and the photo itself exhibits only light handling wear at the edges and corners. Photo measures 5x7". Full Grading LOA from PSA/DNA, Mint 9.
