    Description

Circa 1947 Mel Ott Signed Photograph. The first of three New York Giants Hall of Fame teammates to perish from injuries sustained in automobile accidents (Frank Frisch and Carl Hubbell being the others), Mel Ott did not produce nearly enough autographs in his short life to meet demands. He made the 500 Home Run Club a trio around the time he signed this color image clipped from a sporting magazine late in his career. His blue fountain pen ink signature rates an impressive 9/10, and the visible 3.5x6.5" portion of the photo only reveals minor creasing upon the closest of inspection. A simple framing job completes the 8.5x12" dimensions. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication. Third party shipping is required.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
