Circa 1916 Waite Hoyt Original Photograph by Charles Conlon, PSA/DNA Type 1. "Schoolboy" Waite Hoyt was just fifteen when he signed with the Giants in 1915 but is best remembered for his Roaring Twenties affiliation with that team from the Bronx, which won six pennants and three World Series. The "Aristocrat of Baseball" bowed out the majors with 237 wins and bowed into Cooperstown in 1969. Hoyt was photographed during his teenage years on this original 8x10" photograph by Charles Conlon - circa 1916. The background has been darkened in to allow for better newspaper clearness. There are also a few production notes on front. Reverse features: "Charles Conlon" stamp and a pencil notations. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, Type 1.
