    Description

Circa 1910 Walter Johnson Original News Photograph by Bain, PSA/DNA Type 1.
Another classic warm-up image from George Grantham Bain, one of the leading photographers of the Dead Ball Era. This one finds the Big Train in his prime, limbering up the arm that would lead him all the way to Cooperstown as part of the inaugural class. Photo measures 4x5" and bears Bain stamping and "Culver Service" labeling on verso. Minor wrinkle apparent only upon sharp angle to light. LOA from PSA/DNA, Type 1.
