Circa 1886 Detroit Wolverines Cabinet Photograph. It must have been a tough pill to swallow to finish with a record of 87-36 and still only finish in second place. The Detroit Wolverines found themselves in that position in 1886, despite the best efforts of players such as Dan Brouthers, Deacon White, Ned Hanlon and Jack Rowe. The offered 4.25x6.5" cabinet photograph pictures the team from circa 1886, with fourteen men in the picture. The photo has gilt edges and the studio, "Palethorpe, Greenville, Mich." on the bottom. Brouthers, White and Hanlon are all pictured in the middle row. Overall Excellent with some chips on the edges and corners.
