Description
1989 Perez-Steele Celebration Postcard Set, Signed by 36. The Celebration issue was a 45-postcard set put out to celebrate both the 50th anniversary of baseball's Hall of Fame, but also the issuing company's 10th year of business. Thirty-six from the given issue are signed, including such stars as Ted Williams, Mickey Mantle, Carl Yastrzemski, Hank Aaron Ernie Banks, Bill Dickey, Chas Gehringer, Johnny Mize, Duke Snider and many more. This issue was limited to 10,000 and has been packaged in a commemorative box with the inside decorated with a copy of the Dick Perez painting "A Casual Game." The cards in this particular example are each numbered "3202". Includes book depicting the art from each card. LOA from PSA/DNA.Auction Info
