Description

1980s Joe DiMaggio, Ted Williams, Mickey Mantle Multi-Signed Display. Joe DiMaggio, Mickey Mantle, and Ted Williams were three of the most iconic and talented baseball players of the 20th century, whose careers were closely linked by era, rivalry, and legacy. DiMaggio and Williams were superstar outfielders in the 1940s, representing the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox in one of baseball's fiercest rivalries. DiMaggio was known for his grace and consistency, while Williams was revered as perhaps the greatest pure hitter ever. When DiMaggio retired in 1951, Mickey Mantle took over center field for the Yankees, symbolically and literally succeeding him as the face of the franchise. Mantle and Williams then became the dominant stars of the 1950s, often compared for their power and popularity, though Williams was the elder statesman. Together, the trio defined the golden era of baseball, with their talents, styles, and team allegiances shaping the sport's narrative for decades.

Offered is a 10x14" display that features a photograph (oxidized) signed by the three Hall of Famers. Also includes plaque prints signed by each. Mild handling wear. Full LOA from Beckett Authentication Services.
