1962 Roger Maris Twice Signed Page. Roger Maris was baseball royalty following his home run journey of 1961. Numerous publications had Maris as its cover subject given the fact he was a back-to-back American League MVP. While Maris signed autographs, he didn't go out of his way to accommodate seekers. This 8x10" page was signed by Maris on both sides in bold blue marker. We give the original autograph hound who collected this an "A" for effort as they had the wherewithal to suggest Maris sign his name on both sides. Compact marks are visible on both sides but we are pleased to report only the "g" on "Roger" (61st home run tip of the cap photo) has any semblance of a crease. Both autographs could be lifted as a cut. One side has mounting remnants but they are on the opposite side of the autograph. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
