1946 Jackie Robinson Original Photograph by William Greene, PSA/DNA Type 1. Contrary to their reaction in Florida during Dodgers' Spring Training, the Montreal community welcomed the Robinsons with open arms as his affiliated baseball journey began. Jackie would lead the league in batting average and runs scored as the Royals captured the pennant and subsequent "Little World Series."

This 7.5x9.5" photograph was taken during Robinson's year in Montreal. The full body image shows the trailblazer with his trusty bat in hand and finishing his backswing. Scattered surface creases/cracks penetrate the surface but there are no major rips. Two "Hillerich & Bradsby" stamps are joined by a "Photo WM. C. Greene" reference on the reverse. Light staining on the back right corner. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, Type 1.
