Description

1941 Joe DiMaggio Signed Photographs Lot of 6.
At twenty-six years of age, Joe DiMaggio's had the greatest season of his career in 1941, and here's why: thirty home runs, league leading 125 runs batted in, .357 batting average with forty-three doubles eleven triples and 122 runs scored. He was the American League Most Valuable Player and the Yankees won the World Series. But there's more. He struck out a mere thirteen times in 622 plate appearances, had a defining fifty-six-game hitting streak, and went on to hit safely in seventy-two out of seventy-three games. The image portrayed in this lot commemorates the Yankee Clipper's timeless season and each are signed in blue sharpie. Signatures 9/10. Lot includes numbers 17, 18, 109, 227, 250, and 354. Last four prints have photo surface nicks, printing imperfections and adhesive remnants on back. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. LOA's from notary public.
