    Description

1939 Babe Ruth Embraces Lou Gehrig After "Luckiest Man" Speech Original Wire Photograph, PSA/DNA Type 3. The provided image is one of our very favorites ever shot on a baseball diamond, the smile on each legend's face as multi-faceted as the Mona Lisa's. A few tack holes and two small rips (left side and lower middle) are found, and the reverse holds the original "July 5, 1939" date stamp and a clipping from the newspaper in which it was published. The image measures 8x10". LOA from PSA/DNA, Type 3.
