1939 Babe Ruth at the Lou Gehrig Farewell News Photograph, PSA/DNA Type 1. It's one of our very favorite baseball photos, perfectly capturing both the bravery of the Iron Horse and the huge heart of the Babe. We all know that this iconic pair had more than their share of personality conflicts, but this was a true silver lining to the darkest of clouds, as Ruth and Gehrig bury the hatchet moments after the dying first baseman's famous "Luckiest Man" speech. The 7x9" photo survives in fabulous condition, with the newspaper's photo caption, "C'mon, Kid, We're All With You,' the Babe Tells Lou," glued to the back. A marvelous companion to frame with autographs of the immortal Yankees. Encapsulated "Type 1" by PSA/DNA.
