    1936 Lou Gehrig, Carl Hubbell, Joe McCarthy and Christy Walsh Original Photograph. This lot represents material directly from "The Christy Walsh Estate," which has been in storage since his passing in 1955 and now brought to surface by his descendants. All of this correspondence have been stored in the original files Christy had since 1921 and represents his own personal mementos, business affairs etc. particularly that with Babe Ruth. The first true super agent!

    Original 7x9" photograph depicts the four notable figures standing alongside the dugout with fans behind prior to the 1936 World Series between the Yankees and the Giants. "Christy Walsh Syndicate" stamped on reverse. Scribbles & notes on the reverse in pencil.
