    Description

1934 Babe Ruth's Final Game as a New York Yankee Original News Service Photograph, PSA/DNA Type 1. Babe Ruth's final Yankees game was on the road. There was no hardly any pomp and circumstance which you would think a player the caliber of Ruth would have. The offered 6.5x8.5" photograph shows Ruth receiving a testimonial scroll at Griffith Stadium. Ruth's wife and daughter and Senators owner Clark Griffith stand as the slugger is receiving his gift. The reverse has a paper caption affixed and an "International News Photos" stamp. LOA from PSA/DNA, Type 1.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
