    1934 All-Star Game - Terry & Cronin - Original Photograph with 2 Signed Checks. The skippers for their respective leagues - Bill Terry and Joe Cronin -leaned on their lumber and chatted before the first pitch of the second playing of baseball's Midsummer Classic. The pair of future Hall of Famers also penned themselves in the lineup with Cronin collecting three total bases and a duo of RBIs while Terry reached twice with a single and base-on-balls. The original photograph measures 7x9" with mild wear exhibited. Reverse features a single production marking in graphite, a black "N.E.A" stamp dated "JUL 20 1934", a pink "ACME Newspapers, Inc." stamping (style used from 1930 to 1939), and a pasted-on paper caption which reads:

    "Big League All-Stars meet at Polo Grounds. Bill Terry, manager and first baseman of the New York Giants, and Joe Cronin, manager and shortstop of the Washington Senators, also managers of the National and American League All-Star teams, meet before the start of the game between the greatest players of the two leagues at the Polo Grounds, New York City, July 10. Credit Line (ACME) 7/10/34."
    Also included are the following signed checks from the player-managers:

    Cronin: 2.75x6.25" check dated August 10, 1979, signed in solid blue ballpoint ink
    Terry: 3x8.5" check dated December 5, 1985, signed in solid black felt-tip ink

    Light wear exhibited throughout each bank note. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.
