    Description

1934-38 Dizzy Dean Original News Photographs Lot of 4, All PSA/DNA Type 1. He was a big league star by age twenty-two and one of the greatest pitchers ever for the six years he was healthy. His dominance in those seasons, much like Koufax would enjoy three decades later, gained him passage to the Hall of Fame. As the ace of the Gashouse Gang in his miracle year of 1934, he won thirty games, the MVP award, and pitched a complete shutout in Game 7 of the World Series to win the game and championship for the Cardinals.

Great lot of four features two from the 1934 championship season; one with brother Daffy (6x8", top right corner missing) and one taking batting practice in street clothes before the series opener (6x8"). Also, 1935 with Branch Rickey and Frankie Frisch (5.5x7.5", image flaking, editorial marks) and at Spring Training 1938 (7x9", top right corner missing). Four full LOAs from PSA/DNA, all Type 1.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
