1933 Joe DiMaggio Original P.C.L. Photograph, PSA/DNA Type 1. "Joltin' Joe" DiMaggio's first card hails from his earliest baseball days in the Pacific Coast League with the San Francisco Seals. Here we have the perfect mate for one of those trading cards--an original type one studio photograph of DiMaggio from 1933 noting his P.C.L. consecutive hit record. Who could ever foretell that the dapper young man in this photograph would go on to marry Marilyn Monroe, establish the Major League consecutive hit record, have a song written for him, and become one of the greatest batsmen in the history of baseball? The photo measures 7.25x9.25" and originated from the DiMaggio estate. DiMaggio's name is spelled incorrectly on the front, which happened again on his 1936 R312 Pastel rookie card. Excellent condition. LOA from PSA/DNA, Type 1.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
