1933 Babe Ruth Barnstorming In Hawaii, PSA/DNA Type 1. A fantastic image of Babe Ruth swinging for the fences during a October-November 1933 barnstorming tour promoted by Herb Hunter which included games on both Oahu and the Big Island of Hawaii. A leg in Japan was scheduled but never materialized. Ruth looks majestic and the packed grandstand in the background is wonderful. Image exhibits some unobtrusive creasing, corner bends, and a small border chip, most of which could be easily matted out. "Associated Press Photo" and "Nov 2 1933" date stamp appear on the back, along with "Sporting News Collection" hologram. Measures 6x8". Full LOA from PSA/DNA, Type 1.Auction Info
