Description
1933-37 Honus Wagner Signed Photograph. We're able to narrow the birth date of this marvelous signed photo to a five-season span by the style of jersey sported by the team's most faithful servant. Wagner strikes a distinguished pose in this hand-colored photographic portrait study, and utilizes the broad expanse of his chest to supply a blue fountain pen inscription that reads, "With best wishes to C.E. 'Smokey' Smeltz from J. Honus Wagner." The ink projects with 8.5/10 boldness, and the 8x10" photo exhibits light handling wear and rippling, but no distractions of note. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
