1932 Babe Ruth & Lou Gehrig Original News Photograph, PSA/DNA Type 1. Ruth and Gehrig pictured in home pinstripes on either side of Sakae Nakajima who was known at the time as "The Babe Ruth of Japan." The Yankees and Browns hosted the St. Paul University baseball team of Tokyo on this day. We suspect this event fueled interest in the Tour of Japan that was undertaken two years later. "Associated Press" issue with "Cleveland News" stamp as well. Measures 6.75x8.75" with white borders (right and bottom borders trimmed) and surface wear only noticeable on close inspection. LOA from PSA/DNA Type 1
