    1931 Babe Ruth Barnstorming Original News Photograph, PSA/DNA Type 1. Babe Ruth and his mighty swing were always able to entertain fans. Whether it be in a small town or for the war effort, The Bambino was always there to provide youngsters a hero to cheer on. This 6x8" photograph captures Ruth after taking one of his mighty hacks. The paper caption on back reveals Ruth finished with a homer in five plate appearances at Wrigley Field. George Burns' All-Stars toppled Ruth's team 9-4 in a charity game held for Marion Davies' Clinic for Children of Disabled War Veterans. The reverse has an "International Newsreel Photo" stamp and caption affixed. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, Type 1.
