1931 American All-Stars Tour of Japan Team Photograph, PSA/DNA Type I. While the 1934 tour is more celebrated because of the presence of the Bambino, the 1931 tour was its equal of its younger brother in terms of the assemblage of raw baseball talent and on-field domination.

Snapped on the deck of the Tatsuta Maru ocean liner, this outstanding "Type I" image (4.75x6.5") features nine Hall of Famers dressed to the nines, including Lou Gehrig, Lefty Grove, Mickey Cochrane, Al Simmons, Frankie Frisch, George "Hugh Pockets" Kelly, Rabbit Maranville, Fred Lieb (sportswriter & historian), and Lefty O'Doul (Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame). LOA from PSA/DNA, Type I.
