1930-48 Baseball Spring Training Original Snapshots Lot of 28. One fan's passion for spring training is evident in this lot covering the event in 1930, 1932, 1933 and 1948. From 1930 are three 2.5x3.5" photos of George Sisler, Rabbit Maranville and Waterfront Park. In 1932, the group of three 3x3.75" photos include Lefty Gomez, Joe McCarthy/Hank Gowdy and Rabbit Maranville. Although undated, the presence of Al Wright with the Braves gives us a date of 1933 for a dozen 2.75x3.5" photos, including Tony Lazzeri, McCarthy, Bill Dickey and others. Finally, jump ahead to 1948 for the last ten shots (2.75x4.5"), which include Burleigh Grimes/Charlie Keller/Ed Lopat, Bobby Doerr, Dom DiMaggio, George Kell and others.
