1929 Tinker-Evers-Chance Chicago Daily News Vintage Photograph.
These are the saddest of possible words:
    "Tinker to Evers to Chance."
Trio of bear cubs, and fleeter than birds,
    Tinker and Evers and Chance.
    Ruthlessly pricking our gonfalon bubble,
Making a Giant hit into a double -
Words that are heavy with nothing but trouble:
    "Tinker to Evers to Chance."

Originally published on July 12, 1910, the poem that would be engrained this Cubs trio in the memories of baseball fans for decades to follow is also credited with helping sway voters into electing them into the Hall of Fame.

This 8x10" vintage photograph shows the three, with Cubs' Secretary Charles Williams headed to West Side Park. Photo is dated September 29th, 1929 on the reverse - but West Side Park was demolished in 1929 and Frank Chance passed away in 1924, meaning the original date is lost. Moderate wear is exhibited throughout the image with some production markings halfway down the right edge. Reverse features "Left to right; Charles Williams; Secy of Cubs; Johnny Evers; Frank Chance; Joe Tinker" written in graphite, "9-29-29" written in black pencil, attached newspaper caption, and a black Chicago Daily News stamp.
