    Description

1929 Philadelphia Athletics Oversized Composite Photograph. Eighteen games! That was the margin of victory over a New York Yankees ballclub that had just swept back to back World Series the previous two seasons, and yet Connie Mack's second great dynasty left Ruth and Gehrig choking on its dust. That historic 1929 team is commemorated here in a rare 10.5x13.5" composite photograph picturing each World Champ, including Mack, Grove, Foxx, Cochrane, Collins, Simmons and more. Some light creasing at upper left corner accounts for the bulk of condition issues. Stamp on verso reads "Photograph by Berry & Homer, Philadelphia."
