1929 Babe Ruth Original New Photograph, PSA/DNA Type 4. Babe Ruth came closer than anyone to becoming the greatest hitter and pitcher in baseball simultaneously. During his tenure in Beantown, Ruth posted an A.L. high 1.75 ERA in 1916, twenty-four wins in 1917, and led both circuits in dingers in 1918 and 1919.

Here we present a beautiful full-length image of Ruth wheeling his Boston lumber...probably before hurling a shutout. Photo is a later-issued 1929 example made from a duplicate negative featuring an image originally taken during the 1910's. Measures to approximately 6.5x9.5" with "Oct 8-29 N.E.A." stamp on verso. Full LOA from PSA/DNA, Type 4. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, Type 4.
