    1928 New York Yankees vs. St. Louis Cardinals World Series Game One Original News Photograph, PSA/DNA Type 1.
    The stands are full and Old Glory is displayed proudly at Yankee Stadium in this original 7.5x9.5" original photograph taken during Game 1 of the 1928 World Series. Similar to what they did a year before, the Yankees batted and bashed their way to the victory with virtually the same lineup as Murderers' Row. Men clad in suits and top hats are featured in the stands while a few Yankees are shown in the dugout at the far right. The following appear on reverse: Associated Press stamp, typed caption, "Oct 9-1928" (date stamp) and pencil notes. LOA from PSA/DNA, Type 1.
