    Description

1928 Lou Gehrig Original News Photograph, PSA/DNA Type 1. Murderers' Row didn't end when the 1927 Yankees recorded the final out of the World Series. The 1928 version of the Yankees was just as dominant as they steamrolled through baseball's best. Lou Gehrig's numbers were as exceptional as ever. The Iron Horse finished with a sparkling .374 average to go with twenty-seven homers and 147 RBIs. Gehrig is showing the entire world the swing which produced those gaudy numbers on this original 5.x7" image. The reverse includes: "Lou Gehrig Photo by Underwood" (stamp), "American League Service Bureau" (stamp), "Refered E. Dept. Sept 20 28" (date stamp) and production notes. LOA from PSA/DNA, Type 1.
