1928 Babe Ruth Gets Ready for Barnstorming Tour Original Photograph, PSA/DNA Type 1. Christy Walsh was instrumental in helping Babe Ruth capitalize on his measurable marketability. It was Walsh who helped stage the exhibition series which pitted the Larrupin Lou's and Bustin' Babes. This unique 8x10" photograph shows Ruth, with his familiar cigar, holding onto his uniform top along with Walsh. An equipment chest is centered on front. The reverse has "Wide World Photos" and "Christy Walsh Management" stamps and "Sept 14 1928" written. Light wear appears on the perimeter. LOA from PSA/DNA, Type 1.
