1927 Urban Shocker Original Photograph by Charles Conlon, PSA/DNA Type 1. By the time this photograph was produced and released to the public, the subject would have merely a single game left in his Major League career and less than a year to live. Urban Shocker, the one-time Deadball ace, pictured here in 1927, won 18 games with a 2.84 ERA for what many consider to be the finest baseball team to take the field. Original imagery, taken by Charles M. Conlon, measures 6.5x8.5" and exhibits only a single flaw - creasing and a incomplete tear in the lower left corner. Reverse features photographers stamp, identifiers, date stamp of "OCT 18 1927", and The Cleveland News stamp. LOA from PSA/DNA, Type 1. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, Type 1.
