    Description

1927 New York Yankees Team Panoramic Photograph. If you're a true Yankees fan, you might consider this the greatest photograph on the face of the earth. We wouldn't try to change your mind. It's the first time we've encountered this simply phenomenal image, snapped in the sunny, sleepy town of St. Petersburg, Florida where the Yankees were preparing for what has gone down in history as the single greatest baseball campaign in the sport's long history. All of Murderer's Row is here, most notably Lou and the Babe, who stand side by side left of center in the back row. The sepia-toned image has endured more than three quarters of a century with remarkable aplomb, with minor staining in the wide white border areas and a single light four-inch crease confined almost entirely to the grassy foreground of the image, and only evident at certain angles to the light. Size is 10x24".
