    Description

1927 Babe Ruth Original News Photograph, PSA/DNA Type 1. The Sultan sits between Ed Barrow and Jacob Ruppert in the Colonel's office, perusing his new three-year contract for $70,000 per year which he just signed. Ruppert would get more than his money's worth as Ruth would hit a record sixty home runs, driving the Bombers to a record 110-win season, another World Series championship, and securing their mantle as the greatest baseball team ever. Paper photo credit and International Newsreel stamp affixed to back. Overall EX with horizontal crease near the top border and paperclip impression, neither of which significantly distract from the image. Measures approximately 9x7". Full LOA from PSA/DNA, Type 1.
