1923 Cleveland Indians Team Panoramic Photograph. Twenty-nine Indians all in a row in this gorgeous panorama picturing the powerful American League squad. Each is identified by surname and position beneath his respective image, with notables including Tris Speaker, Joe Sewell, Stan Coveleski, George Uhle (led the League in '23 with twenty-six wins), Bill Wambsganss (of World Series unassisted triple play fame), Riggs Stephenson and Homer Summa. "The Cleveland Baseball Club, American League, Season 1923" rises above their collective heads. A few very minor creases and light emulsions are only visible to the very sharp and fastidious eye; otherwise the photo displays as NRMT. Image measures 7x30", and is matted and framed to overall dimensions of 13.5x37". Certainly from the estate of a player or V.I.P.
