    Description

1923 Babe Ruth Original Photograph, PSA/DNA Type 1. It seemed like Babe Ruth was built for the big moment. The Called Shot, a home run in the first All-Star Game and three homers in a World Series contest come to mind when conjuring up thoughts of the Bambino's biggest conquests with a Hillerich & Bradsby in hand. The top of the list also includes clubbing the first homer at newly minted Yankee Stadium in 1923. Ruth is crossing the plate behind teammates Whitey Witt and Joe Dugan as Eddie Bennett waits on this 6.5x8.5" Keystone photo. A caption is glue affixed to the reverse, and there is a newspaper service rubber stamp. Light handling wear present. LOA from PSA/DNA, Type 1.
