Description
1922 Babe Ruth Photograph by Bain. The Babe at first base? It may appear to be the case, but the text on back clearly states "Ruth, outfielder of Yankees, Sept. 23, 1922." Joining this identification is "Photo. by Bain News Service" stamping, establishing this shot as the work of noted baseball photographer George Bain, one of the most collectible names in the hobby. A simple "Ruth" in the upper margin appears to be within the print, which measures 4.75x6.5" in size.
