    Description

1922 Babe Ruth Original News Photograph by George Grantham Bain, PSA/DNA Type 1. The Babe could entertain a crowd like nobody else. Just before he unleashed his power on the American League in 1922, Ruth put on a hitting display during an exhibition in New Orleans. This 4.75x6.5" original photograph was taken through the lens of George Grantham Bain and catches Ruth as one is probably flying out of the ballpark. All four corners remain sharp, but there is a a mark through the subject's pants. The reverse has a"Culver Pictures Inc." stamp, photographer service sticker and typed caption. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, Type 1.
