1920's Babe Ruth's Grip Original News Photograph, PSA/DNA Type 1. The grip that launched 714 long balls over the course of his twenty-two year career is the subject of this Babe Ruth close-up photograph from the 1920's. Ruth demonstrates how he choked all the way up on the bat handle to generate bat speed and power, and there is no arguing that it worked very well for the greatest player to put on a uniform. "Underwood & Underwood" stamped photo is heavily marked on the back, streaked on the front and lightly torn, but pictures a great 7x8.75" image of Ruth's hands. LOA from PSA/DNA, Type 1.
