1920's Babe Ruth & Muddy Ruel Wire Photograph from the Herold "Muddy" Ruel Collection. One of the most incredible Ruth images we've ever seen, picturing the Bambino sliding safely home as the man who stood behind him as he clubbed his sixtieth homer of 1927 trying to apply the tag in vain. The photo is stamped by "National Photo" on the verso and is affixed at top to a scrapbook page. Upper right corner has a small tear, but when framed the photo will present as EX-MT or better. Another wire photo is affixed to the opposite side of the scrapbook page, a VG-EX image of a rundown during the 1924 World Series. Original paper caption is affixed.
