1920's Babe Ruth & Family Type 1 Original Photo and Publication (2 Items). As an idol to millions of kids around the world, it was only natural that Babe Ruth have his own candy. In 1928, a set of six baseball cards featuring the man who was having better years than the president appeared promoting Babe Ruth Candy bars. Card # 5 featured Ruth in a tender photo-op moment giving his daughter Dorothy a kiss. Offered is a circa 1926 Type One original 8x10 photo used for card #5. The wide angle shot reveals a dotting Mrs. Ruth looking on with glowing pride. The photo is encapsulated PSA/DNA Type 1 with a "The Christy Walsh Syndicate" credit stamp on the reverse. Christy Walsh was the first "power agent" and represented Ruth in promotional matters. The photo has very few and insignificant surface faults and no creases. The image is crisp and clear as one would expect. As a bonus, we present a copy of the October 26, 1926 issue of "Mid-Week Pictorial" featuring this very same scene just at a very slightly different angle of Ruth and family. NOTE: A high-grade example of the Babe Ruth Candy card is being offered elsewhere in this auction. Framed and matted, the three pieces would make for an amazing wall display and conversation piece.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
